Our designs are sensitive to each individual site, seeking to mesh into and enhance habitats and local ecologies. We emphasize northern California native plants, low-water-use plantings, and maximizing habitat for pollinators and humans-alike. Grading, drainage, and responsible stormwater management are keys to a successful landscape - aesthetically, ecologically, for health and safety - and are the construction-based underpinnings of any design.

We work in both urban and rural environments, and at many scales, from small patios to full-property designs, to large-scale campus and ranch master planning. Our designs are tailored to the client goals while incorporating the surrounding natural systems and utilizing each project as an opportunity to engage the surrounding ecosystem, to educate and enhance beauty.
